I am a filmmaker, photographer, and interdisciplinary artist with a creative practice that dwells between the areas of ephemeral site specific intervention, sculpture, and structural filmmaking. I hold a BFA in Sculpture from Wright State University, and an MFA in Sculpture and Expanded Practice from Ohio University. I currently work as both an industrial filmmaker and freelance photographer in southwestern Ohio. I have just come back from a two month winter/spring stay at the MacDowell Colony where I kept a studio and worked on several film, video, and photography projects. This coming fall (October 1st through November 31) I’ll be organizing and implementing a series of community-based interventionist projects out of a studio I’ll be keeping at the Prairie Center of the Arts in Peoria, Illinois. In January of 2013 I will have my first major solo exhibition at the Sculpture Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
